Prior to my decision to join the Tax practice in KPMG Singapore, I had the privilege of meeting and chatting with one of our partners, Lam Kok Shang, at The Tax Academy. Inspired by the pride and passion he demonstrates, I summoned the courage to step out of my comfort zone to experience the KPMG way.

I strongly believe it's the people who make the difference in an organisation. During my interview, I was convinced that KPMG is the RIGHT firm to join because our bosses here are people-oriented leaders. They are willing to listen and in so doing, showed me that they are interested in helping me develop my career for the long run.

My experience with KPMG thus far has been great! The Indirect Tax team is very close-knit and we get along very well! I am learning something new everyday - everyone is very willing to share their knowledge and experience with one another.
